At the risk of writing something pointlessly repetitive, allow me to say for the millionth time how great Bon Iver’s debut album For Emma, Forever Ago truly is. This album has gotten a ridiculous amount of press (especially online) lately, and was rightfully hailed as one of the best albums of 2007.

It’s a musical snapshot, completely evocative of a time, a place, and a mental state to accompany them. You will rarely encounter a more complete work of art in any medium. Go listen to it.
