Mixtape: Make It Funky
A few weeks ago, I wrote briefly in this space about 8tracks. At that point, I promised a lengthier review of the site for Listen In; my review is available here. I received a very nice note from 8tracks co-creator David Porter in response to that piece. David also sent me a beta version of the 8tracks Uploader – a drag-and-drop plugin for use with iTunes.
I’ve been meaning to try out the Uploader for awhile, but other things got in the way. Today I finally got around to it. Here’s my mix:
The Uploader worked flawlessly, and is generally a vast improvement over the existing Web-based uploading system. Thanks again, David.
