Thank you! I thought I was the only person being driven crazy by this!!! It’s such a simple approach and absolutely needed. Especially in this age when guest features are so commonplace! I found this page after googling for a solution to this issue for the past 2 hours!

Argh! So frustrating! Apple, if you’re going to tie the universe to using iTunes, the least you can do is to provide advanced metadata handling capabilities. I would dump itunes YESTERDAY were it not for the fact that all of my iphone apps have to be downloaded through the thing (again, why?!).

I tend to use the search function instead. Sure it would find tracks with that name but at least no music would be mixed.
